Voill stands behind the performance and quality of all our products. All Voill products come with Voill’s one-year warranty against manufacturer and material defects. To extend the life of the product, Voill provides repair services for any product not covered by the warranty.
Voill develops its products to the highest standards. We create products we want to use – lightweight, breathable products – that provide such protection and performance that you forget you’re wearing them. Still, no matter how you care for and treat your Voill product, the garment will eventually begin to wear out and experience performance degradation.
What Does The Voill Warranty Cover?
The Voill Warranty guarantees that all of our products are free from manufacturer’s defects in materials and workmanship. Products found to be defective during typical use are warranted to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase. Depending on the problem, products under warranty will be repaired or replaced by Voill.
What Does The Voill Warranty Not Cover?
The Voill warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Therefore, this warranty does not cover damage caused by accident or natural decomposition of materials over time, except for damage caused by improper use, handling or care. Nonetheless, products outside Voill’s repair scope can still be repaired at a reasonable cost.
Tell Me More About Repairs
Voill firmly believes in minimizing consumption and ensuring the long-term usefulness of the product, even if the product is out of warranty. Voill offers low-cost repairs in-house or through partners, depending on the level of repair, to extend the life of your product.
While we strive to return repairs promptly, repairs typically take 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year, product or material availability, and level of repair. Please plan ahead and realize we are a small team doing our best to get you back out there as quickly as possible to minimize the time you are without gear.

Yes and no.
Most Voill products are treated with a durable water repellent when they leave the factory. We use a PFC-free waterproof coating. This coating provides initial water resistance and a stunning water-beading effect to new products, but it will wear off over time.
The main waterproofing function of the garment is provided by a waterproof breathable membrane, which allows air and water vapor to escape but does not let water molecules in. Even though your durable waterproofing agent may have worn away, a waterproofing membrane can still provide functional waterproofing.
The performance of both waterproofing membranes and waterproofing agents diminishes over time and use. Fortunately, waterproofing and membrane functionality can be rejuvenated with proper product care and maintenance.
If your garment is experiencing waterproofing issues that go beyond normal performance degradation or improper care, we may be able to help resolve your issue with a warranty or repair.
Your gear must be clean before being sent to us. You should also wash your gear regularly to keep it performing and looking fresh.
Washing: We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with cold water (or warm water if your gear is really dirty) using a detergent designed for garments. Close all zippers and loosen all drawstrings. Never use regular liquid cleaners or hot water, as both will damage the membrane and the glue that holds the seam tape in place.
Drying: Hang dry, or to rejuvenate the product’s water repellent, place it in the dryer on low for about 10 minutes, then hang dry. Do not dry at high temperatures or for long periods of time as this will damage the seam glue and the garment.
